We are beyond grateful for Marc! I am a parent of a child with an autism who has an IEP. In NYS, if you want your HS diploma you need to pass regents. Finding the right tutor who can truly connect and adapt to her needs can be a challenge. Marc exceeded all of our expectations!! Marc took the time to understand my daughter’s learning style and tailored their approach accordingly. They used a variety of strategies that kept her engaged and focused. She always told me after the lesson she really liked Marc and he was funny. I think his humor kept her engaged in the material. The combination of patience, encouragement, and expert knowledge of the Regents material made a huge difference in her confidence and understanding. After every lesson he would message me a quick overview of what he did and what we should be focusing on. His words were always positive and encouraging. THANK YOU MARC!!! SHE PASSEED HER REGENTS on the FIRST TRY!! This is a huge step for her and I will always be grateful.

Our son just had his first writing lesson with Marc and it went very well. They began by reviewing a draft essay our son had been working on with a previous tutor, and Marc provided constructive feedback for improvement. Marc also insightfully observed a literary analysis perspective that my son had not considered previously, which we thought was very helpful. Marc then suggested additional resources and a learning path that may help our son further develop his writing skills. Marc is also well versed in the NYS ELA Regents content and format which we plan to leverage as the framework for future lessons. We are looking forward to future lessons with Marc.

Marc helped my rising 7th grader with a writing assignment. I liked how he spent time discussing and preparing an outline before writing the final assignment. Marc gave my son very good suggestions on how to improve the quality of his work while also checking grammatical errors. We are very happy with the class.

My son is being homeschool this year and needs the additional help for the upcoming school year! Mr. Marc has been so helpful and awesome so far! We have done two lessons and my son definitely enjoys the way Mr. Marc teaches! Excellent Middle School ELA Tutor
Marc has been working with our middle school son on ELA. He is using the book "Models for Writers" and is focussing on close reading, vocabulary, and writing. We've been very happy with his sessions. Currently, our son's public school is completely online with limited class time because of COVID, so it's been especially helpful for him to get one-on-one attention.
