I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematics, chemistry, physics, and problem-solving. My engineering background has equipped me with analytical thinking and the ability to break down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps for students. I also hold a certification in Mathematical Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins, further strengthening my quantitative and statistical expertise.

During my time at Johns Hopkins, I served as a tutor for the Whiting School of Engineering, where I worked one-on-one with undergraduate students in Transport Phenomena, calculus, differential equations, chemistry, and data analysis using Python and Excel. I helped students strengthen their understanding of both theoretical concepts and their real-world applications, emphasizing logical reasoning and problem-solving strategies. I also have experience tutoring high school students in subjects such as algebra, trigonometry, and physics, helping them prepare for standardized exams like the SAT, Regents, and AP-level courses. My approach emphasizes building a deep conceptual understanding before applying knowledge to solve complex problems, ensuring students gain both confidence and independence.

As a bilingual tutor, I offer lessons in English or Spanish, allowing me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and tailor my communication to their learning preferences. My tutoring sessions focus on creating a supportive, patient, and structured environment where students can ask questions freely and build lasting academic skills. Whether a student is trying to excel in advanced STEM coursework or strengthen their math and science fundamentals, my goal is to help them master the material, develop effective study habits, and confidently apply what they learn in real-world contexts as I have learned to do in my engineering career.
