I hold a Master of Science in Early Childhood & Special Education from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies & Sociology from Syracuse University. I am also certified in New York State in Students with Disabilities (Birth–2nd Grade).
I bring over 10 years of experience in education across classroom teaching, special education support, instructional leadership, and school administration. I have taught Pre-K through 2nd grade students and have extensive experience supporting diverse learners, including students with ADHD, learning differences, and varying academic needs. My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundational skills, confidence, organization, and individualized support tailored to each student’s learning style. I frequently use structured literacy, executive functioning strategies, positive reinforcement, and data-informed instruction to help students grow academically and emotionally.
My experience includes classroom teaching, one-on-one intervention, small-group instruction, family partnership, and school leadership. I previously served as both an Assistant Principal and School Principal in New York City, where I coached educators, led instructional programs, and supported hundreds of students and families. I have worked in classroom settings, individualized intervention settings, and leadership roles focused on improving student outcomes and creating supportive learning environments.
