Hi! I’m Megan. I graduated St. John's University with my bachelor's in Childhood Education and my master's in Special Education. I have been teaching for 5 years, in both general and special education. I am currently a 3rd grade special teacher in NYC.

Teaching has always been a passion of mine and it's been a super rewarding experience for myself. I've been tutoring since I was in high school which has been for about 11 years now. I've tutored students in grades K-8 in every subject. I try to help the students I work with learn in a fun, engaging way that helps them best achieve their academic goals. I have my NYS certification in both childhood education and special education. I have a lot of experience working with all grade levels from Pre-k to 8th grade. I have experience tutoring/teaching all subject areas as well as working with ELLs and students with disabilities. My experience includes working in after school programs as well as 1 to 1 instruction.

To complete my undergrad, I had to pick a concentration. The concentration I chose is math. I have taken over 30 credits of math courses throughout my four years of college. I have also taken 3 math methods courses for teaching. That is, a course on how to teach elementary math. I have experience tutoring multiple students in math in various grade levels.
