Teaching has always been a passion of mine and it's been a super rewarding experience for myself. I've been tutoring since I was in high school which has been for about 7 years now. I've tutored students in grades K-8 in every subject. I try to help the students I work with learn in a fun, engaging way that helps them best achieve their academic goals. I have my NYS certification in both childhood education and special education. I am applying for reciprocity to get my certification in Massachusetts. I have a lot of experience working with all grade levels from Pre-k to 7th grade. I have experience tutoring/teaching all subject areas as well as working with ELLs and students with disabilities. My experience includes working in after school programs as well as 1 to 1 instruction.

To complete my undergrad, I had to pick a concentration. The concentration I chose is math. I have taken over 30 credits of math courses throughout my four years of college. I have also taken 3 math methods courses for teaching. That is, a course on how to teach elementary math. I have experience tutoring multiple students in math - 1st, 4th, 5th, 7th, & Algebra.

I have a true passion for teaching and helping students learn and grow. Please feel free to contact me to know more. I will answer as soon as I can.

Great energy and knowledgeable

She is very patient and proactive with my son who has ADHD and sensory processing issues. She made suggestions of introducing manipulatives in the math to challenge him, and utilizes her resources (Raz-kids, books on Safari account to name a few) as a student teacher to help him. I like her background in Childhood learning and Special Education and she brings to the table experience working with children of varying learning disabilities. She brings a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm whenever she sees my son.
