If you’re even thinking about a tutor in Economics for your student, look no further! Our daughter took several tutoring sessions in her senior year of high school with Mrs. B, covering both AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics, over a period of 3 months. Mrs. B. is an amazing teacher - clearly very experienced in teaching the AP curricula for Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. She is highly qualified, thorough, flexible, and always prepared for her sessions. I’m so glad we found Mrs. B! Her tutoring gave our daughter a measure of continuity and helped sustain her interest in her academic classes during a difficult and stressful time in her senior year. Mrs. B. met our daughter where she was, and helped her cover material she had missed due to a medical leave of absence. Her teaching helped give our daughter the confidence to study the AP Economics content during her absence from school, and to keep up with her schoolwork. Our daughter decided to take the AP exams, and got a 5 on both AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics, and an “A” for AP Economics on her final high school transcript. More importantly, she is able to use the Econ concepts she learned in day-to-day conversations, and is able to apply her learning to analyze current events. Our daughter is now attending her first choice of university, and is very grateful to Mrs. B. for her tutoring and support in senior year.

Ms. B tutored me and truly helped so much. I took AP Micro online and was struggling to grasp the concepts. I went to her after I took the midterm and even after one lesson, I was able to catch up on all of the little things I missed from being online. She helped me work through all 6 units and gain a strong understanding of the material to significantly increase my grade to one I was proud of. I then worked with her again before the AP exam and she helped me cram for it, reviewing the most important topics, giving me more to practice on my own, and walking me through past FRQs. I felt so much more confident when taking the AP Exam thanks to her. She taught me so much and made me actually enjoy doing economics.
