Growing up, my favorite teachers tailored lessons to individual students and were always available outside of class. They also encouraged me to ask questions. I strive to do the same for my students by being patient and using drills to solidify their learning. Having been in your shoes once, I often draw on my own experiences with tutors. Thus, I always listen to my students' concerns and will work with you in crafting a targeted plan for your goals. Through tutoring, I strive to motivate students and empower them to continue on their learning journey.
In terms of my testing experience, I have received perfect scores (5/5) on the AP Calculus AB/BC, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, English Language/Composition, and US History exams. I also received perfect scores on the SAT (1600/1600), ACT (36/36), and SAT Chemistry and Math I/II exams (800/800). I received 790/800 on SAT US History and 780/800 on SAT Biology. I am also trained in competition math and have received full scores on all mathematics NY Regents exams. (I have also scored 97+ on various other science and history NY Regents exams.) I am proficient in Python, MATLAB, and Microsoft Excel/PPT/Word.
