Hi! I'm Kaeleigh, a Biomedical Science major and Honors Program graduate with a 3.9 GPA and a minor in Global Studies. I have completed the core requirements of my Biomedical Science degree and am currently finishing my final semester while taking additional advanced coursework and performing research. As a student-athlete balancing a rigorous science curriculum, research, and athletics, I've developed strong time-management skills and a deep understanding of how students learn under pressure. I also have over a year of hands on research experience in dermatology, working with HaCaT keratinocyte skin cells and bacterial models, which has strengthened my ability to explain complex biological concepts clearly and accurately.

I have several years of tutoring experience working one on one with high school and college students in Honors Biology, College General Biology, Introductory Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry. My strongest and preferred subject area is biology, particularly high school Honors Biology and college-level General Biology. I have a strong background in Genetics, Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable pieces, reinforcing foundational knowledge, and helping students build confidence through active recall, practice questions, and real-world applications. I tailor my teaching style to each student's learning preferences, whether that means visual explanations, step by step problem solving, or exam focused review.
