I'm currently a Student Teacher with the Department of Education (NYC) as a Master's candiate to teach English grades 7-12 at Queens Collge. Two years into this program, I've learned several approaches to teaching English including Special Education and English as a Second Language, and have spent over 100 hours teaching.

In my Undergraduate career at Binghamton University, I was a double Psychology and English major, with a minor in Education. My unique study combination has provided me so much insight when working as a summer camp counselor for the past eight years with every age from third grade through High-School Seniors. As a Teaching Assistant under the Department of Psychology for the past three for both PSYC111 (Introduction to Psychology, for two years with over 600 students) and PSYC228 (Social Psychology, for one year with 230 students). I held office hours, ran review sessions, and responded promptly to questions via email. My degree in Psychology provides me with a background in topics like Social Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods, Cognition, Psychotherapy, Learning & Behavior, and more. For English, I’ve studied American Literature, Creative Writing, Fantasy Writing for Children, British Literature, Shakespeare, and more. Additionally, my Education Minor has provided me with a variety of tools to teach the variety of students that exist. I have a background in Special Education, Elementary Education, Mental Health in Education, and other unique education classes offered at the University.

I would be lucky to be able to help middle school, high school, and college students with their AP Psychology exams, general Psychology courses, Social Psychology, English essay reviewing, NYS English regents writing prep, College essay help, and more.
