My name is Kirsten, and I have been tutoring for 5 years. I typically work with high school aged students in math and science subject areas, and am looking to expand my portfolio to include college students who are preparing for the MCAT exam. I took my MCAT for the first time in August, and scored a 523 (131/132/130/130). In addition to an outstanding MCAT score, I graduated from Cornell University with honors in 2019, and earned straight A’s as a post-baccalaureate pre-med student at Stony Brook University. I currently work with 12 high school students in the following subject areas: Chemistry, Physics, Geometry, Algebra I & II, Calculus, and Living Environments. My longest standing students have improved their course averages by more than 10 points since I began working with them. I also tutored students in SAT Math as a Test Prep Instructor for Minds Matter NYC, a non-profit which focuses on providing underprivileged students with the resources they need to get into college.
