I especially enjoy helping children who are struggling with issues which impact their ability to succeed in school; for example, I've helped several kids who had poor organization skills, needed help learning how to learn effectively, and how to set and achieve short- and long-term goals. I believe in getting to know as much as possible about my students, so I can better relate to them.
I have a great love of reading and believe that any child can be taught to love reading if properly motivated. I have been a public speaker since my early teens and have learned many skills which can help children be more comfortable.
