Bio

I have been tutoring for over 10 years now. Throughout that time, I have had the privilege of helping fellow classmates and now the younger generation excel in math and science classes.

I graduated second in my high school with an SAT score of 1380. After that, I graduated in the top 10% of my college class with a 3.85 GPA and a Master's in Engineering (3.89).

During this time, I consistently tutored fellow classmates and younger students for 7 years, ranging from one-time help for exams to regular weekly tutoring sessions.

After college, I directly applied my engineering knowledge while I worked for a NASA subcontractor developing life support and cooling systems on the International Space Station, satellites, and commercial airplanes. Afterwards, I worked as an HVAC consultant. I am now an Engineering Manager for the Maintenance and Operations of a 2 million sq ft building.

I'm an educated individual who has utilized math and science throughout my career as an engineer. I've tutored a wide range of students in a plethora of subjects, from high school to college, throughout the years.

I utilize many of my math skills on a daily basis at the office. I've usually been good at identifying gaps in student knowledge, and bridging that gap through descriptions and focused problems.

Prepared and knowledgeable

Thomas asked for areas of concern prior to session so he would be prepared with information upon arrival. He seems to know the subject matter and is able to explain it in a manner that makes it easier to understand. I believe they have talked about another session so the students must have felt it was a good fit and worth it to continue.
