I believe that I am a strong candidate for many reasons. One reason is I have several years of elementary teaching experience. As an ICT teacher in New York City, I taught students with a wide range of abilities and cultures. Each student provided a unique background to our classroom community. As a primary school educator I analyzed assessments to differentiate assignments, homework and informal assessments to meet all students' needs. While meeting their academic needs, I implemented thought-provoking and engaging activities to create lifelong learners. I understand the importance of assessing students while also supporting the whole child through their educational journey.

I also co-created an Early Career Teaching Program. As a director of this program I planned weekly professional development for the school's first year classroom teachers and associate teachers. I pushed-in to support, observe and evaluate coachees on a weekly basis while also running my ICT first grade classroom. I am a take-charge person and my organizational skills are complimented by my flexibility. Problem solving, multitasking and managing my time come easily to me. I enjoy collaborating with a partner or team of colleagues to create new experiences for students and educators.
My current position as a Literacy & Social Studies Curriculum Coordinator and Instructional Coach. I am adept in program development, evaluation, implementation and curriculum alignment. Moreover, my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate analytical and interpersonal abilities. In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation and a passion for literacy. I am extremely enthusiastic about Catapult Learning’s focus on Blended Learning to ensure a quality education is accessible to all and am excited at the opportunity to contribute to your successful program development.
