Hi, my name is Serena! I graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University in 2021 with a degree in biological engineering, and minors in biology, biomedical engineering, and business. I am currently in my third year of dental school at the University of Buffalo. My passion for teaching developed while at Cornell, after I was hired to teach a calculus support class for my peers. Serena has been tutoring my daughter since the start of this new school year, and she has been, by far, the best tutor we've found. She's extremely patient and goes above and beyond in sharing notes and suggested practice problems to reinforce their lessons. My daughter started the school year feeling anxious about this subject, and since working with Serena, she has grown a lot more confident. Serena works at a reasonable pace and is great at explaining hard-to-understand concepts. I also greatly appreciate her flexibility. Despite the time difference, she has made herself available late in the evenings if my daughter needs an extra session before her exams. We are so appreciative of Serena and her expertise and support as our daughter's math tutor.
