Greetings! I hope that you will review my profile and consider me as the next tutor for your daughter and/or son. I have two years tutoring for work study as a college student and as a professional tutor to college students. I thoroughly enjoyed being the catalyst that opened students' minds to new concepts, ideas and understanding. I like to be creative when explaining concepts and mostly focus on finding ways to relate the material to the life of the student so that it is more interesting and memorable. Helping students actually appreciate the subject material leads to deeper understanding and true learning, which will hopefully become a base for the studying and learning techniques he or she uses in the future.
I recently graduated with my bachelor's of science in biology with a concentration in environmental science and am enrolled in a masters program for environmental policy and management with a concentration in fish and wildlife management. Regardless of the modes that we take, the ultimate goal is success on exams, moving on to the next step in our education, and working toward our future. I take all of my professional work very seriously and strive to meet and exceed expectations in everything that I do. However, learning can and should be fun, and a positive experience that will encourage and inspire students to continue to learn and succeed.
