I have always done very well in school from a young age. In 6th grade, I was invited to take an entrance exam to get into a special high school for advanced students. Out of about 4,000 kids, 200 were accepted and I was one of them. I started high school the next year, being the age of a 7th grader. Eventually I moved and changed high schools and was able to skip a grade at my new school. I did a lot of AP work and did very well on my SATs and other sanctioned exams. Now I attend SUNY Oswego...
Now I attend SUNY Oswego and I study Business Administration.
At SUNY Oswego I participate in the Mentor-Scholar program in which we visit different schools around the area with our different teams to mentor students. I currently mentor two children at Oswego middle school when college is in session for our program. In this program we work with students after school, helping them finish their school work and tutoring them in what they struggle with. The school has even offered me a tutoring position for math. We also give them help with social and emotional issues and make sure to incorporate a lot of fun activities. I love this program because it is completely voluntary and it makes me feel fulfilled. No matter how small, I know what I am doing is making a difference and I enjoy every second of it.
I have never scored less than an A in math my entire life and I am naturally good with numbers
I got a 790 (almost perfect score) on my writing SAT and have taken AP english courses, as well as an honors English class at SUNY Oswego, both for which I received A's.
I have won many spelling bees and spelling comes to me almost naturally.
