Prospective students, My friends in knowledge,
My interests in particular are French and English literature and writing in French and English. My experiences abroad allow me to show you more than syntax and grammar. In a globalized world, in which business is done in locales that could hardly be imagined, it is a cultural knowledge that clients are looking for. It would be my great pleasure to impart what I have learned and create a lasting experience of the French language and french culture. Memorization is not the only method for learning a language; in fact, it is more helpful to learn to speak as an infant would by observation, imitation, and use. I would hope to provide for my clients a truly modern and effective method of learning to do the minds work in french: A marking and lifelong cultivation. Again the aim is to teach a skill that is lasting.
My goal would be to provide to a student not just grammar and mechanics, linguistics and fluency, but also the cultural experiences they search for: cuisine, music, cinema and videos. The idea is that a tangible memory and link is created between the language and it's permanent companion, culture. It is just as important to be aware of cultural habits as it is verb conjugation.
