I am a certified math teacher in NYC and a certified public accountant as well. I have been quite successful in getting students to pass their standardized tests. I live in Westchester County and work in the Bronx. Therefore, I would be willing to tutor either place or in between. I concentrate on individualized needs and cater to students becoming independent in their endeavors.

I can only give Michael my highest recommendations and commendations. He established positive and caring relationships with my son who was failing math at the beginning of his eighth grade. At this point, my son's current average is B; he feels strong and confident. Thank you Michael!
Excellent tutor! My 7th grader had become very resistant and closed to math and after one session Mike had him all caught up. I completely recommend him for any student struggling in math!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a NYC high school teacher math teacher. I prepare students for the regents exams every semester and I have a high success rate. I go over old examinations and I concentrate on topic tested most frequently and topics where the students have the most difficulty. I have a great deal of experience tutoring for the algebra, geometry, and algebra II/Trigonometry regents exams.
