Hello!! My name is Brian, and I am passionate about working with adult and college students in developing skills necessary to succeed in the professional and academic world. I am currently working as a leadership/business coach and peer group facilitator specializing in helping current and future business leaders realize their true potential both as a leader and communicator, as well as a technical trainer specializing in Microsoft Office products and enterprise resource planning and financial applications (time, attendance, travel, and expense) used in the corporate world.
I believe that the single most important skill to have today is the ability to effectively communicate. Public speaking is one of the most feared things adults face today. As someone who faced his own fear of public speaking skills to become an effective presenter, I bring a fresh perspective to those who likewise are looking to conquer their fears, and for over a decade, I have provided feedback to speakers - of all skill levels helping them achieve their goals. I also provide guidance in effective written communications so individuals and businesses can operate effectively. And finally, I work with individuals and businesses to make sure they are comfortable with basic technologies.
I am pursuing a PhD in organizational psychology and currently hold an MBA in management, a BA in communications, and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management. I am also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and will become a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) soon and bring both a coach's and project manager's mentality into the tutor-student relationship, helping the student to see and realize their true potential.
