I am a certified Italian and Spanish teacher with over twenty-five years of experience teaching and tutoring students at the middle school, high school, and college levels. I currently teach World Languages and specialize in Italian at all levels and Spanish through Level 3. I regularly support students enrolled in public and private schools, including those that follow a trimester system. I work extensively with students preparing for Regents and FLACS exams, trimester finals, Honors coursework, and Seal of Biliteracy pathways. Italian is a particular area of strength for me, as it is a subject with limited tutoring availability, and I enjoy helping students build both confidence and proficiency in the language.

My tutoring style is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. Sessions are aligned with classroom instruction and may focus on grammar clarification, verb tenses, writing development, speaking practice, or preparation for trimester assessments and cumulative exams. I provide clear explanations and custom materials such as review packets, verb charts, and writing templates to help students stay organized and make consistent progress between sessions.

I work well with motivated students as well as those who benefit from clear structure and guidance. Families appreciate my professional background, organization, and ability to explain language concepts in an approachable and effective way. My goal is to help students feel confident using the language while improving their academic performance across each trimester.
