Hello all and welcome to my page!
My name is Sabrina, and I am an experienced Elementary Special Education Teacher with over 13 years of experience. I am certified in General and Special Education for grades 1-6 but have experience with students in kindergarten as well. I also have my administration degree which has opened my eyes more to expectations and varied types of curriculum used across New York State.
Throughout my teaching experience thus far, I have taught grades 1, 2 (for over 8 years), 3, and 4. I have worked closely with students with ATSD and many other learning disabilities including dyslexia and ADHD. For the last 10 years, I have worked in an Integrated Co-Teaching Classroom as the Special Education Teacher alongside a General Education Teacher. This has provided me with a lot of individualized teaching to meet the needs of each of my students. In addition to teaching, I have also privately tutored many students predominantly ranging in age from 5-12. I am looking forward to providing your child with individualized lessons to meet their needs and see that they succeed!
