I am a 4th year chemical engineering student in the Georgia Institute of Technology with a 3.95/4.0 GPA that is planning to go to graduate school for chemical engineering next year. I have completed multiple college level science classes (General Chemistry 1&2, Organic Chemistry 1&2, Inorganic Chemistry, Physics 1&2, General Biology), math classes (Calculus 1-3, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations), computer science classes (proficient in Python and MATLab), and chemical engineering classes (Mass and Energy Balances, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Kinetics, Reactor Design, Separations, and Process Design). I have excelled in math and science classes throughout my high school academic career, taking multiple AP courses in Stuyvesant High School (AP Physics C, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Calc BC), as well as humanities AP courses (AP World History, US History, Government). I scored a 583 on my SHSAT and a 1560 on my SAT (760 English (Perfect Writing Section), 800 Math).
I have a year of experience as an undergraduate course assistant for the Heat and Mass Transfer class for the chemical engineering department, helping students learn the material and grading their work. I also have worked as a teacher’s assistant during a summer in high school, test prepping and teaching 6th-8th graders for the SHSAT and SAT.
