I have been a full-time tutor for 10+ years and I love what I do. For me, working one-on-one with my students is the most rewarding way to teach. My unique strength as a tutor is my ability to teach across multiple subjects. Many of my clients use me as their "one-stop shop" for academic support, hiring me on a regular basis to help with homework assignments, essay writing, organization/study skills, and test preparation, or whatever is needed that day. I always look to cultivate a relaxed, fun, flexible and supportive relationship with my students.

With nearly fifteen years of combined teaching and tutoring experience, my skills cover a wide range of grades and subjects. After receiving my Master's in 2011 with a focus on progressive education and integrated learning, I became a 5th grade classroom teacher. I then transitioned into full-time homeschool instruction for grades 6-8, delivering curriculum in all core subjects. Later, I developed a specialty in math support for grades 4-8. At the high school level, I have led students to success in New York Regents courses/exams in English, Earth Science, Living Environment, Global History and Geography, in addition to Honors and AP courses in English, World History, and U.S. History and Government. I have also helped prepare my high school seniors for the SAT in Reading/Writing and their college applications.
