I’m a Juilliard-trained professional pianist, composer, and dedicated piano teacher with a passion for helping students discover the joy and creativity of making music. I specialize in classical piano, particularly the Romantic repertoire, but I believe that every student is different and deserves an approach tailored to their individual goals, interests, and learning style. Whether you’re a complete beginner, an intermediate student looking to build confidence, or an advanced pianist wanting to refine your technique and musical interpretation, I’m here to help you grow as a musician.

My teaching philosophy goes beyond simply learning notes and playing pieces correctly. I want my students to understand the music, develop a strong technical foundation, and learn how to express themselves at the piano. I incorporate technique, musical theory, interpretation, sight-reading, ear training, and repertoire into my lessons while keeping the experience engaging and encouraging. I also enjoy helping students who want to explore composition, improvisation, or music outside of the traditional classical repertoire.

As a professional performing pianist and composer, I bring real-world experience from the concert stage and a deep love for the instrument to every lesson. My goal is to create a positive environment where students feel challenged but supported, and where progress is something they can genuinely enjoy. Most importantly, I want my students to develop a lifelong relationship with music and the piano, not simply learn how to play a few pieces.
