Hello! My name is Evellinna. I tutor in subjects specifically geared towards data and presentation, like Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. I have tutored for over 3 years, and am a firm believer that practice, patience, and persistence create success. These are values that I approach tutoring with and instill in my students.

I received an associate's degree in technical work related to computers and engineering. I focused specifically on data and cybersecurity, with a focus on preventing the illicit loss of information to groups and people.

I started my academic career focused specifically on engineering and cybersecurity. As I proceeded through my undergraduate studies, I lost my passion for engineering and recalculated entirely on cybersecurity. I wrote a cybersecurity thesis, including a rigorous review from my advisors and a dissertation defense. After graduating with my associate's, I delved into the business field where I got to work on computers and develop programs for end-to-end encryption.

Additionally, I began to tutor students and became the president of the tutoring club while earning my associate's degree. I instructed multiple students, ranging from group classes to one-on-one tutoring, on how to succeed and excel. Additionally, I trained and developed incoming Freshmen to be tutors to maintain the auxiliary support needed for the campus. I began providing instruction for encryption-based tutoring classes and webinars.

I enjoy making sure that my students gain the skills and knowledge needed to accomplish both. While I am a tutor for a plethora of subjects, I am most excited to teach Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint for now on Wyzant. I have always been passionate about helping people with self-edification, as I believe it is not only a necessary aspect for personal success in a myriad of ways, but also one for overall societal development. I hope to instill this in all my students as I work with them.
