I am a graduate of Columbia University, where I earned my Master’s in Biomedical Engineering. My advanced coursework in mathematics, science, and engineering has equipped me with a deep understanding and confidence in teaching math from the elementary through college levels. I excelled in high school AP Calculus and in college courses such as Calculus II, Calculus III, and Differential Equations. I am also passionate about teaching chemistry, including high school and college-level general chemistry, as well as biology topics like general biology, anatomy and physiology, molecular and cellular biology, and biochemistry. Additionally, I have strong capabilities in teaching both calculus-based and non-calculus-based physics.
During my time at the University of South Carolina, I worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader and Peer Tutor, providing advanced tutoring and holding regular sessions to review material in chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, and engineering. I am excited to continue working with students this summer through individualized tutoring, helping them prepare for exams and achieve their academic goals.
I have also successfully navigated admission exams like the SAT, ACT, and GRE, and I am eager to assist other students in reaching their target colleges and careers. Most recently, I began medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, where I am continuing to build on my academic foundation and passion for science and medicine.
