My name is Rohan Soni (he/him) and I am a sophomore at Columbia University majoring in Political Science and minoring in South Asian studies. In high school I often found myself struggling with concepts that my peers found quite easy, and as a result I found myself turning to tutoring a lot. However, I realized that getting academic help is what I needed and it turned out beneficial for me. In addition to receiving tutoring, I realized there were certain concepts I was stronger at and I began to tutor others. Since then I have fallen in love with tutoring and have continued to tutor since then.
Math is one of my favorite subjects of all time. Growing up my parents taught me math consistently and I have continued to love it since. Additionally, I scored a 36 on the math section of the ACT.
On the ACT reading section I scored a 35 and I scored a 770 on the SAT reading section.
I a a political science major and have always been fascinated with political science from a young age. From organizing a South Asian branch of the Democratic party in Atlanta to working for education accessibility across Georgia, I have worked on all different levels of political works. Additionally, I scored a 6 on IB History and a 5 on AP Gov.
Thank you so much for your time! I hope that you choose me as your tutor, and if you have more questions do not hesitate to reach out!
