I am an experienced MCAT tutor working with students to achieve success over a wide range of target scores, with a recent student achieving their goal of 527. In addition to content review, I work with students to build study plans and implement evidence-based study strategies for student success. As a MD-PhD student at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, I am uniquely able to bridge high-yield learning tools with personal experience as a medical student.
In addition to the MCAT, I also tutor for math and all sciences across high-school and college levels. I graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College in 2020, where I earned a BA in Chemistry with High Honors and a BA in Biomedical Engineering Sciences. As an organic chemistry TA and tutor and study group leader for organic chemistry, introductory chemistry, and cell biology, I have over 500 hours of teaching instruction experience. During my time at Dartmouth, I was the recipient of numerous awards, including an award for outstanding performance as an undergraduate chemistry teaching assistant.
I bring my strong academic teaching skills, extensive tutoring experience, and compassionate interpersonal support to my tutoring sessions, where I am excited to help students grow as they gain the knowledge and confidence to excel in their desired focus. I take a problem-based approach to tutoring, working through assessment level problems with students while helping them to learn the fundamentals that will enable them to succeed as both lifelong learners and test-takers.
