I started playing chess at the age of 7 and immersed in this new world. Since then I I've competed in more than 100 tournaments ( including major international competitions). It was a really long journey but in 2018 I finally achieved the the Candidate Master title from Russian Chess Federation. I am still actively playing chess and developing my skill. My current FIDE peak rating is 1920 and I am among the top 2% of active Russian players.

Back to the team championships, I had my first experience of helping less skillful teammates in preparation for games. Gradually this desire to help grew into a love for teaching. I've been teaching chess for 2 years in English and Russian. I love to watch my students not only improve in chess, but watching their understanding of chess deepen and watching their interest grow.
