Hi! I'm Julie, a recent alumna of Princeton University currently working on the Learning & Development team of a finance firm helping high-achieving professionals improve their writing and verbal communication skills. I've been tutoring college application preparation, writing, public speaking, and more for nearly five years.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton, and I also received the school's Shapiro Prize for Academic Excellence (an award given to a very small selection of Princeton's highest-achieving students). I earned a perfect score (36) on the ACT, as well as perfect scores on AP and SAT Subject Tests. I've also won an array of writing awards, been published in many newspapers, and spoken at locations including the General Assembly of the United Nations Headquarters.

I have extensive experience helping both high school students and transfer students perfect their Common App and supplemental essays, prepare for college interviews, and create a college application plan. The students I've worked with have earned admission to schools including Princeton University, Duke University, Columbia University, Cornell University, and Washington University in St. Louis. As an undergraduate, I worked for the Princeton admissions office as a tour guide, and I know the ins and outs of the college process.

I also work with adults who are looking to improve their writing and public speaking skills. I've worked with individuals applying to graduate school, students who need support with graduate course work, and professionals who are hoping to enhance their workplace communication skills. Additionally, I work with middle and high school students who need extra support with grade-level writing curricula, as well as advanced young learners who are seeking additional opportunities to strengthen their writing skills outside the classroom and who need assistance submitting writing to competitions. I also tutor Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation and Judaic studies.

This is a tutor who can teach a student high level skills needed in college and advanced studies .She can teach skills like pulling out essential points, and organizing thoughts around very challenging ideas.
