Hello! I'm Anna, a recent graduate from Brown University. I'm interested in tutoring elementary, middle, and high school students in order to help them succeed in their academics. My tutoring style involves encouraging students' creativity and passion and instilling in them a true love of learning. I offer engaging, thought-provoking lessons for students.
I bring four years of experience as a volunteer science educator for high school students, as well as four years of experience as a STEM teaching assistant at the college level. My tutoring approach for science and math involves making sure that students not only passively understand but take ownership over the material and feel comfortable with its application.
I am also equipped to help students with test preparation, having scored a 1600 on the SAT and studied tactics for improving at standardized testing. I hope to make the test-prep experience as palatable and enjoyable as possible for students!
I am also eager to help students cultivate their love of English writing and literature. My own writing has been published 45+ times and earned academic awards. I provide supplementary help in English classes, strategies for excelling at writing and literary analysis, and any other English services students need.
