We really appreciate Daniel as an AMC tutor! He has helped my daughter practice the topics not covered by the school system such as counting and probability and number theory. Graduate-level statistics course and Monte Carlo
I have degrees in data science and business administration, yet I agreed to teach a summer graduate course in event simulations and found myself unfamiliar with the content. The course's homework included errors and inconsistencies within the homework templates, and the answer keys seemed to point to certain older assignments that didn't align to the current ones, making them unreliable for me. Daniel helped me figure out how to work ALEKS, install Excel through my student benefits, work a TI 84 calculator for all of the Probability, Combinatorics, Confidence Interval, Hypothesis Test, and Regression problems, and go over many practice problems so that I could do well on the exams. He basically gave lectures as we went through my practice material, acting as a personal professor. Exactly what I needed as a non-math student!
