Bio

I have been a professional educator since 2016. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University with a 3.88 GPA, and a BA in English and American Studies. I help students of all ages, but focus especially on the LSAT, SAT, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, SHSAT, and AP Exams in American History, Composition, and Literature.

I have been a professional educator since 2016. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University with a 3.88 GPA, and a BA in English and American Studies. I help students of all ages, but focus especially on the LSAT, SAT, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, SHSAT, and AP Exams in American History, Composition, and Literature.

I myself was not always a committed or enthusiastic student. It took me a long time to discover how to make school work for me. I have since dedicated my career to helping students find their love of learning, and achieve their full potential. I pride myself on my ability to adapt my approaches to the specific goals and learning styles of my students, whether they be in elementary school, or college.

I received a 175 on my LSAT, and a 1560 on my SAT. I took honors and AP math courses throughout my high school career, and received 5's on the AP Euro, AP American, AP Bio, AP English, AP Latin, AP Comp Sci, AP Government and Politics, and AP Macroeconomics exams. I also received 2 gold medals for my performance on the National Latin Exam during my high school career.

I am always on-call for my students. For me, true academic support requires a strong relationship with a student, one built on trust, honesty, and a willingness to adapt. ISEE

As an employee at Ivy Global, I went through hours of training before I could tutor students for ISEE. I trained to tutor students at all levels of the exam, and have done so for the last three years. I keep up to date on all materials available on the market, and I pride myself on my ability to select workbooks and exercises that match my students' needs. As a lecturer in the English department at Brooklyn College, I have to deliver a variety of talks, lectures, and presentations throughout the semester. I also teach SAT, and ACT courses. Both jobs require that I employ the fundamentals of good public speaking, which I learned while training for these jobs, and as an award winning Model UN participant in high school. I know what techniques work for students of all ages.

I have been tutoring students for the SAT since 2016, for all four sections of the exam. I received a 1560 on my SAT, and run an SAT company called Tutoring Service of New York, for which I create math handouts and other materials.

I have multiple years of experience tutoring the SSAT using a variety of different companies' materials. I received training for this exam from NTK Academic Group in Hong Kong, and from Ivy Global in New York. I tutor every part of the exam.
