Hi, I'm Emily! I am a current third year medical student and graduated from MIT with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I've tutored for over 10 years for students ranging in age from middle school to college. I started tutoring while in high school, and realized how much I enjoy working with students to help clear up complex or confusing topics. Hi, I'm Emily! I am a current third year medical student and graduated from MIT with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I've tutored for over 10 years for students ranging in age from middle school to college. I started tutoring while in high school, and realized how much I enjoy working with students to help clear up complex or confusing topics. Since then, I've taught high school classes, SAT/ACT test prep, and advanced college classes. I've learned over the years how to tutor a wide range of learning styles and abilities.

As an engineer, I've developed a rigorous understanding of math and physics. I understand that these topics can be challenging and frustrating, which makes helping students understand them all the more rewarding. I have tutored math classes from prealgebra through multivariable calculus, as well as the SAT math section and math subject tests. I also served as a physics teaching assistant in college, and can tutor introductory to AP Physics.
