This role is the perfect fit for me because I have been in my tutee's shoes. I want to help internationals find ways to express themselves freely. As a native Amharic speaker, I had to learn English as my second language in a new country while trying to assimilate to the new cultural context and environment. Needless to say, I know how hard the English language can be to comprehend, let alone create literary work with. I would like to be an English tutor to offer the opportunities to make the learning process easier for people who are currently facing difficulties in the beginning stages, like I did when I first started.
