Bio

Nice to meet you! I am currently a 6th and 7th grade science teacher. I have over 10 years of experience and have taught many different levels of 8th grade math as well. My major in college was Middle school Math and Science Education, so I am specialized in those content areas but also am elementary certified. I have taken the GREs and other standardized tests and have always placed in very high percentiles, so I would love to help teach test taking skills as well.

I love what I do and have had experience tutoring remotely due to the current times but also because I teach in a district with computer access for all students, so this isn't a huge change for me.

Math and Science are now more phenomenon based with application of conceptual knowledge. Now as a science teacher, math is very interdisciplinary and I use CCSS or NJSLS standards everyday.
