I am a medical student at Columbia University. One of the most challenging parts of the premed experience is preparing for the rigorous MCAT exam. I scored exceedingly well on the MCAT (525 composite) through dedication and using a set of successful test strategies that I honed in on through careful practice and application on official AAMC practice exams. I can comfortably tutor all MCAT sections, but I am especially experienced in Biology/Biochemistry (100th percentile) and Psychology (99th percentile). I have had almost 10 years of tutoring experience. I began tutoring while in high school working for Kumon Math and Reading. I continued privately tutoring and volunteer tutoring while at UCLA for undergrad. I also worked as a Learning Assistant (LA) for chemistry and physics courses at UCLA. Finally, I have privately helped dozens of students in both MCAT studying and applying to med school.

Amazing tutor!

Jack helped me so much this summer with preparing for the MCAT. My full length practice scores improved significantly in only a few months with his guidance. We met weekly to go over questions and discuss different strategies. I would definitely recommend him as a tutor!

Great tutor

Jack has helped me understand more on how to start thinking like a good tester while also helping me figure out which strategies work well with how I study. Jack has also helped me identify content gaps in certain areas and has both explained them well and recommended videos/chapter to read in the Kaplan book and UWorld/ AAMC questions to practice. He knows what he’s doing, and built an appropriate schedule for where I am at in my journey. Without hesitation I think picking him as my tutor has been a great decision and do not doubt that Jack is the right tutor for you.
