Bio

I received my PhD in Linguistics from New York University, and I have been the primary instructor and course lead for graduate, undergraduate, and advanced high school levels for 10+ years.

I really enjoy tutoring and pride myself on teaching students how to learn rather than just how to memorize information.

Subjects taught include introductions to the theoretical linguistic subjects of morphology, phonology, syntax, and psycholinguistics, as well as more specialized topics within sociolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, field methods, and acoustic phonetic analysis.

I also have 8+ years experience specifically teaching students in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) programs, and have found a bit of a niche in helping those entering SLP programs with foundational phonetics and science of language.

I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring one-on-one, and would love to apply my expertise in this subject to helping people achieve their goals.
