Hello, my future students. My name is Jasper and I am excited about becoming your tutor. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in Finance and a teaching assistant/instructor of finance at Rutgers Business School. Before coming to Rutgers, I received a Master of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University. Prior to going to Vanderbilt, I received my undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

During my two years at Vanderbilt University, I was a tutor for undergraduate-level Single-Variable Calculus, Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Economic Statistics, Intermediate Microeconomic and Macroeconomic Theory, and International Trade. I was also a tutor for graduate-level Econometrics and Statistical Analysis.

I truly enjoy being a tutor and helping students succeed in their classes. My approach will be tailored to you based on your background and your goals. I will do my absolute best to answer your questions and help you understand your study materials as thoroughly as possible.

Thank you and I look forward to meeting you!

I scored 800/800 in SAT Math and 169/170 in GRE Math. With a four-year training in Applied Mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles, I will use my analytical skills to help you succeed in the math sections on both GRE and SAT.

I scored 115/120 on TOEFL, 680/800 on SAT Reading, and 800/800 on SAT Writing. Besides being a 90+% scorer on the English sections of the TOEFL and SAT, I am a fluent English speaker and am skilled in academic writing and reading after receiving two and half years of training in graduate school and four years during my undergraduate education.

Finding a tutor that works for you may not be an easy thing to do. If you select me as your tutor, I will listen carefully about your background and your goals and provide you with a tutoring experience that is satisfying and helpful to you.

Helpful and knowledgeable and patient tutor

Jasper is very motivating, explains everything in detail, and taught me everything he could relevant to finance. He helped me out with Intermediate Financial Analysis and he knows that subject really well. His explanations are so effective that it clears all of the confusion that I have remained in my head and that helps me see the better picture of the topic I discuss with him. And he is so determined that he keeps on explaining until I completely understand.
