Hello there! My name is Julian, and I am thrilled to offer my tutoring services to you.

With a passion for both education and technology, I possess a diverse range of skills that make me an excellent tutor in various subjects. As a native speaker of both Spanish and English, I can guide you through the intricacies of both languages. I embarked on my tutoring journey back in 2013 when I provided English lessons to students in my school in Mexico City, specifically helping them prepare for the TOEFL exam. During these sessions, I dedicated two hours each day to enhancing their grammar, comprehension, writing, reading, and pronunciation skills. Additionally, I collaborated with the Mexican Department of Education, focusing on students who required extra support in developing their reading and comprehension abilities.

In pursuit of my passion for technology, I pursued a degree in Computer Science at Fordham University. During my time there, I actively participated in their tutoring program, assisting students who faced challenges in their computer and language courses. I also gained invaluable experience while working at the university's IT department, troubleshooting technical issues and providing comprehensive solutions for students, teachers, and staff members. Since then, I have held two different positions in the IT field, addressing various hardware and software-related concerns.

At Fordham University, I provide tutoring for English Composition classes towards students with difficulties in the English language. I have tutored for over 10 years ranging from IB and AP High School courses, to University level English courses.

Great, Patient and Knowledgable Tutor!

Julian helped me with my verb conjugations as well as my pronunciation. We went over several practice problems and he made learning Spanish SO much easier for me. I would highly recommend this tutor, he is fluent in both English and Spanish, and with his experience, he always knows what to cover. Julian also gave me book recommendations as well as conversation tips. He did everything I asked and beyond, money very well spent. : - )
