Fantastic tutor
Hiroko-san has been a great tutor, I've had multiple sessions with her and I really appreciate her approach to teaching language. I have had some past Japanese instruction, and she has been great at meeting me where I am at with the language and continually challenging me to learn more. She also includes a nice short daily speech practice, which has been helpful to keep me working on speaking. She is very professional, organized, and easy to talk to, as well. I've been looking forward to our lessons each week! I would recommend her both for people new to Japanese and for people who have some experience with it.

Hiroko is a great teacher! She's very encouraging and supportive to me as a new student to Japanese. Always cheerful and willing to provide more details on Japanese culture, she also provides well structured and organized lesson plans. She's also a teacher outside the classroom by offering practice phrases and exercises through conversation apps, as well as providing detailed lesson plans that are easy to follow. What I like most about the class is that she goes at a pace that works for me, where I don't feel overwhelmed by the information.
