Hi! My name is Nitai.

I graduated with honors from Princeton University with a B.A in Molecular Biology and Computer Science. After earning my M.D., I am currently completing my medical residency in Internal Medicine. Although much of my time is spent on clinical work, one of the most rewarding aspects of my work remains teaching and mentoring medical students and prospective medical students. For me, tutoring is a way of giving back by drawing on my experience as a student and clinician to ensure that others have access to a high-quality education, no matter their academic or personal background.

I firmly believe that with the correct approach and a supportive, attentive teacher, anybody can gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to face any challenge and achieve his or her dreams. My focus as a tutor centers on promoting a strong understanding of the core concepts in a subject area and making connections between different ideas so that my students can harness their full potential. In test prep, I also emphasize effective test-taking skills and efficient problem-solving to ensure maximum performance on test day. Whether taking a class in high school, a college course, or preparing for the MCAT or USMLE exams, my students emerge from tutoring sessions with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed.

Very knowledgeable and understanding tutor

Nitai worked with me not only through the Chem/Phys section, but also offered me help in the other sections as well as planning my MCAT schedule through the changes that came with approaching test day. His lessons on certain topics stayed fresh in my mind during test day. He is very lenient with his schedule and seemed to know virtually everything off the top of his head. He was very punctual and professional, as well as compassionate in understanding and working with a broke college student studying for the MCAT. If I have to retake the exam, I absolutely will be working with Nitai again and you should too. Highest qualifications I could find amongst other Wyzant tutors and an honest no brainer when it comes to getting the best help with the MCAT.

Great MCAT CARS tutor!!

I worked with Nitai on CARS and he was great! I came to him feeling unconfident with inconsistent scores feeling like my performance on test day would be up to chance. After working with Nitai we developed step by step strategies on how I should be approaching the passages and questions. This greatly improved my comprehension and timing while answering the questions. He not only has great strategies but is also very supportive and will not make you feel dumb if you are stuck or lost in a situation.
