I tutor Spanish (I am a native Spanish speaker), Biology, Biochemistry, French (I am fluent but not native), essay writing skills, and MCAT prep. As a medical doctor and Neuroscience major, I am highly qualified to tutor science subjects. I was a TA for Biochemistry at Cornell University for 2 years and received the award for Best Biochemistry TA of the semester. I was also a leader TA for Evolutionary Biology for 2 years, receiving outstanding reviews from my students and helping train other TAs. I have also tutored test prep science.
I have experience tutoring English and general writing skills, as well as helping students improve their application essays. I have had students go from hating writing essays to developing a passion and receiving recognition in school for their outstanding essays.
I achieved a 90th percentile on my MCAT-- A highly competitive score to gain admission into top medical schools, and completed my medical school training at UCLA.
