Sean is a teaching and performing violinist based in New York. Born in Columbus, OH, Sean began studying the violin at the age of four through Suzuki Music Columbus, an organization formed at Capital University, and has continued to study the craft through the conservatory level, receiving a MM degree from Northwestern University in 2019. As an aspiring career teacher, he has been instructed in Suzuki pedagogy by Linda Stieg, Martha Shackford, and Ann Montzka Smelser.

Sean has performed in solo masterclass for renowned violin teachers such as Paul Kantor, I-Hao Li, Shmuel Ashkenazi, Merriam Fried, Ilya Kaler, Danielle Belen, and William van der Sloot. He has been seen performing with Opera Project Columbus, Cincinnati Music Theater, and Elmhurst Symphony amongst other classical and pops ensembles. Sean has studied chamber music extensively with the Dover String Quartet and Ariel String Quartet. He has enjoyed working with members of the Emerson and Cavani quartets, and the Lincoln Trio.
Sean has performed at Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in Burlington, VT, Bay View Music Festival in Michigan, and is a regular participant at the Northwestern Violin Institute. Having performed in Europe and prolifically throughout North America, Sean recently toured Asia in 2018, performing with Northwestern Symphony Orchestra in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
