Bio

I am a professional Saxophonist, Producer, Educator, and Composer. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a duel Undergraduate degree in Performance and Contemporary Writing & Production. I received my Master of Music Degree in Instrumental Performance from NYU Steinhardt.

I am certified as a master tutor under the internationally recognized tutoring association CRLA. I am based in the NYC metro area.

I have played in multiple venues in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Vail, Orlando, and Miami. I have over 9 years of experience teaching music ranging from K-12 students, and undergraduate music students at different levels from beginners to professional musicians in music theory, ear training, improvisation, music production, composition, arranging, conducting, saxophone and piano.

Being a professional musician I have composed and arranged music for multiple genres including rock, pop, latin Jazz, Classical and Jazz. I have arranged and composed for Vocal groups, Jazz Quartets, Big Bands, and orchestras.

I have taught students at a collegiate level how to sight sing, transcribe, match pitch, hear harmony, and analyze chords, melodies, and rhythms at all levels. I went to Berklee College of Music.

I have 9 years in teaching students of all age on how to create sound, improve technique on the horn, and worked closely to nurture the student with sufficient materials such as etudes, pieces and exercises to increase the proficiency of the student on the horn.

I have been working with students for 3 years on sight singing, teaching them how to spot patterns, drilling solfege, and teaching them methods on how to improve their sight singing through pitch note association, drills during our sessions, and scale exercises to help facilitate the students awareness for the piece.
