Gigi is a wonderful addition to our son's education. Before he started lessons with her, he had no idea about reading music or playing piano and he is now playing memorized songs. Not only does she engage with him, but he leaves his lessons feeling like he has learned so much and enjoys doing the recommended practice work in between lessons. I love my lessons with Gizem. She is one of the best communicators I’ve ever worked with. She makes everything clear and understandable and always is able to answer questions I have clearly where I’m able to commit the information to memory. She’s extremely detail oriented as well. Every lesson, we listen to the music I’ve written and then we pick it apart, finding areas where it can be improved. It is always presented in a helpful way where she makes me feel like I’ve done a good job already but that she knows I can even do better. She suggests changes and I always take them. She clearly knows what she’s talking about and backs it up every lesson. So glad I found her. I’ve never been so excited to write music!
