Hi, I’m Nick!
I’m a math tutor with a strong analytical background and a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed. I hold a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA and a Bachelor’s in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego—so numbers and problem-solving are second nature to me.

Currently, I work with:

A 3rd grader focusing on foundational math and reading skills.

An 11th grader in algebra and precalculus, helping them strengthen their understanding and skills for high school success.

I also bring extensive experience from past tutoring and teaching roles, including:

Tutoring two advanced 4th graders in pre-algebra

Supporting an 8th grader with special needs in math, writing, and organization

Helping a high school student master algebra and trigonometry

Serving as a teaching assistant for graduate students at UCLA, offering feedback on technical writing and critical thinking

Volunteering as an in-class aide for 2nd and 6th grade students

I focus on building a strong foundation in math while adapting my approach to meet each student's unique learning style. Whether your child needs help with homework, preparation for tests, or mastering core concepts, I’m here to make math approachable, understandable, and even fun!
