Terrific Math Olympiad Tutor

My daughter has made substantial progress with her Math Kangaroo prep since working with Ekaterina. On her last MK test (2022), she got 21 out of 24 problems right; being in the third grade, we hope for the perfect score next year. I would highly recommend working with Ekaterina; she is a terrific olympiad tutor.

My son, age 13, has had several lessons with Ekaterina and he absolutely loves her. Ekaterina is a fantastic tutor. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the subject matter (in our case help with AOPS math classes and AMC questions), she is well-versed in how to present the material from different perspectives, keeps my son engaged with pertinent questions, is encouraging and patient (allowing time for thought - yet also understands when to move things forward with further inquiry, hints and explanations when needed). We started working with Ekaterina in early May. Since then, I've seen big improvements in my daughter's interests in math and her approach to problem-solve. Ekaterina is an excellent tutor. I am impressed at how patient she is, and one can see that homeschooling her child has influenced her style and made her more patient and caring than your average tutor.
