Most STEM courses build on themselves as the course moves through the year, this can lead to students falling behind on a concepts and it compiling until becoming overwhelming. That is why I believe it is extra important to consistently work with a tutor to stay on top of coursework, to understand the fundamentals of science and math and to remain confident in the classroom.

I have worked with a range of a students from many different backgrounds and ages. Before tutoring, I was an AP Physics teacher in Mainland China working in a High School with students planning to study in Western Universities. While in college I was a Physics and Math Department tutor working with both college and adult students a like.

Member of Kappa Mu Epsilon Math honors society. Graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Physics and a second BS in Chemical Physics. I am proficient in Algebra, Precalculus, Trigonometry as well as Pre-Calc and Calculus.

KIM, 1 lesson with Michael

Makes the hard look easy

Mike has very good teaching skills. Ability to teach hard topics in an understandable way is what my kid needed. He's been able to do that. He comes well prepared with a plan and relates well to the student's situation. Been using him on HS level Physics and he's been solid.
