I made a 5 on the AP Calculus exam when I was 15 and have taught many dozens of students to do the same. GMAT

Worried about the GMAT? I’ve coached many students to the 97 percentile. GRE

For over 10 years, my students have gotten perfect or near perfect GRE scores, including on both the computer and paper-based exam and on the new GRE. With a few simple tweaks, many find they can get a 40+ point improvement after only a few lessons. At The White House, I helped analyze and implement the $831B stimulus package President Obama passed just after the financial crisis. I have over 10 years of experience analyzing economic data as an investment banker, hedge fund analyst, and later as a hedge fund portfolio manager. More than just knowing the material, I believe I can make the most complex concepts in this field simple. And I can help students learn to constantly consider, question, and appreciate the web of proposed relationships that governs modern economic thinking. I am also familiar with the intellectual history, philosophical questions, and ideological disagreements that underpin most of our current economic debates. Though these are not always taught in the classroom, I find that explaining these supplementary topics to students can help them to really retain and master economic concepts. I want my students to achieve their desired grades and test scores, and I also believe that teaching economics in this way makes it relevant to the real world and, hopefully, even fun. I seek to help my students to become smart, savvy, and appropriately skeptical consumers of economic findings for the rest of their professional lives.
